Shea Butter is extracted from the nuts of the Shea tree (Butyrospermum parkii), which grows in the Eastern and Western Africa. African Shea Butter is highly nourishing and is remarkably effective in healing dry and cracked skin, eczema, psoriasis and sun damaged skin. Its high content of unique fatty acid profile gives it the ability to moisturize and retain the elasticity of the skin. It is produced in a manner that uses newly developed technology to carefully process the butter without the use of chemicals.

 

Cocoa Butter, also called Cacao Butter, is the cream-colored fat extracted from cacao seeds (cocoa beans). It is one of the most stable, highly concentrated natural fats known, and melts at body temperature so that it is readily absorbed into the skin. Cocoa Butter is often recommended for treatment of skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis. Cocoa butter contains a large proportion of minerals including calcium, potassium, magnesium, zinc, manganese, copper and iron. Cocoa Butter contains a number of different antioxidants that can kill off a wide range of different free radicals that destroy your skin cells and lead to premature aging. Babassu Oil is derived from an Amazonian palm fruit that consists of high sterols and tocopherols. A naturally derived surfactant from corn starch glucose which contains naturally fatty alcohol for moisture. It yields a high foaming power which improves the conditioning of the shampoo without stripping the hair, leaving it soft and moisturized

 

Apricot fruit contains high amounts of Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, dietary fiber and potassium. The oil that is derived from the dried seeds of this fruit known as Apricot kernel oil and it is quite similar to almond oil. This oil is mainly composed of Gamma linoleic acid (GLA) and oleic acid, both of which are unsaturated fats. The high Gamma Linoleic Acid (GLA) content present in apricot oil enables your skin to maintain its moisture balance. This acid also helps tone and firm up your skin.
